About Real REMAX Group

Real REMAX Group is the parent organization created through the combination of Real and RE/MAX. RE/MAX remains RE/MAX, and Real remains Real, while both brands operate within the larger organization.
Real and REMAX operate within the same parent organization while maintaining distinct brands and business models. This means the strength, reach and experience of both organizations now sit within one larger global company.
It also gives real estate professionals a reason to compare the two models and decide which one is better aligned with what they want to build next.
REMAX brings an established global network and more than five decades of real estate experience. Real brings a modern brokerage model built around technology, revenue share, equity and agent entrepreneurship.
Together, they have the scale and resources to invest further in technology, artificial intelligence, education and agent support. For anyone planning the next stage of their career or business, this is an important moment to pay attention.
That depends on whether you are beginning your career, producing independently, leading a team or operating a brokerage. Each path creates different questions around income, technology, recruiting, growth and long-term value.
Alex can help you move beyond the corporate announcement and examine what the opportunity could mean for you personally.

Team Leaders

An established team may be able to transition together, but it requires careful planning around agents, active transactions, compensation, technology, branding and client communication.

Alex can help you examine the opportunity privately and map out what a structured transition could look like before you bring it to the rest of your team.

Teams can generally continue building their own identities, subject to brokerage and local advertising requirements. Your market recognition, culture and client relationships are valuable and should be protected throughout any transition.

The goal is to place what you have already built onto a platform that can help it grow further.

Real gives team leaders a different recruiting story built around technology, community, revenue share and equity opportunities. Eligible agents may be able to participate in more of the value created by the organization they help grow.

That does not replace leadership or culture, but it can make the opportunity you present to agents much stronger.

Potentially. A team becomes stronger when it has repeatable systems, reliable recruiting, high retention, multiple income streams and leadership that does not depend entirely on one producer.

Real’s model may help you move from running a production group toward building a more scalable and valuable organization.

The Real Model

Real is a cloud-based brokerage designed around the agent’s business rather than a traditional office structure. Its platform connects brokerage operations, transactions, commissions, support and technology across a large professional network.
The bigger difference is that agents may have opportunities to earn through production, revenue share and equity creating more than one way to benefit from the business they build.

Real uses a commission split and annual cap structure. The exact numbers can depend on location, role, team structure and current company policies.

Alex can walk you through the applicable model and compare it with what you are paying now. The right comparison should include the entire opportunity—not only the split shown on paper.

Revenue share allows eligible agents to participate in revenue connected to productive agents they introduce to Real and the organizations that grow from those relationships.
For agents with strong industry relationships, this can create a meaningful additional income opportunity without requiring them to build and operate a traditional team. Alex can show you how the structure could apply to the network you already have.

Real provides eligible agents with opportunities to participate in company equity through qualifying programs. This gives agents another potential way to benefit from the wider company they are helping to grow.

Equity is different from commission and revenue share, and its value can change. Alex can explain the current programs and help you understand how they fit into the larger Real model.

Broker / Owners

Many Broker/Owners carry the expenses, administration and responsibility of running an office while remaining heavily involved in production and recruiting.

Real offers a different structure that may reduce operational pressure while opening additional opportunities through technology, revenue share, equity and a larger professional network.

A group transition may be possible, but it depends on your corporate structure, licensing, contracts, agents, locations and existing obligations.

This is not a standard agent transfer. Alex can begin the conversation privately and help bring the right people into the process when you are ready to explore it seriously.

There is no single answer because every brokerage has been built differently. Your brand equity, office commitments, team structure, contracts and market position all need to be considered.

The objective should not be to discard what you have built. It should be to determine how that value can be protected and carried into a stronger future structure.

Real may give Broker/Owners another way to think about the agents, relationships and organization they have spent years building. Revenue share and a less office-dependent operating model may create options beyond continuing to carry the entire business or simply closing the doors.

Alex can help you begin evaluating the possibilities without committing to a move or announcing anything to your organization.

New Agents

Real can be a strong fit for a new agent who wants modern technology, education, collaboration and the ability to build something larger over time.

Your first brokerage decision can shape your habits, systems, relationships and understanding of the industry. Alex can help you determine whether Real offers the environment you need to start properly.

Real provides training, educational resources and access to a broad professional community. Mentorship structures and local support can vary, so it is important to understand who will be available to help you apply what you learn.

Alex can talk with you about the support you need and help connect you with the right people and resources.

Real provides technology and a platform that can support both, but your database and brand must still be built intentionally. Starting with the right systems can save you from trying to rebuild everything several years into your career.

Alex can help you understand the foundations you should begin creating from your first day in the business.

Most new agents compare brokerages using only the commission split. Alex will help you look at the complete picture: training, mentorship, technology, support, lead generation, personal branding and long-term earning opportunities.

Independent Agents

You may already have production, a database and a respected personal brand—but most of your income may still depend on completing the next transaction.

Real introduces revenue share, equity and connected technology alongside your commission business. That creates an opportunity to build more value from your production, relationships and influence.

Your personal brand and client relationships remain central to your business. Any branding must follow brokerage and regulatory requirements, but moving to Real does not mean abandoning the identity you have worked to establish.

The transition should strengthen what you have built, not erase it.

Not necessarily. Eligible independent agents may participate by introducing other productive agents to Real without creating a traditional team with payroll, lead distribution and direct management responsibilities.

If you already have strong relationships across the industry, Alex can help you evaluate whether that network could become part of a larger business opportunity.

A proper comparison should include more than your current split. It should consider your cap, fees, technology expenses, revenue share potential, equity opportunities and the value of the professional network you have already built.

Alex can help you place the two models side by side. The difference may be more significant than it initially appears.

Speaking With Alex

Alex has spent more than 20 years inside the REMAX world as an agent, trainer and producer. He understands the model, the relationships and the emotional weight that can come with considering a change.

He is not approaching the conversation as someone who has never stood where you are. He can help you understand what is changing and why he is personally excited about the opportunity at Real.

The goal of the first conversation is to understand your business, answer your questions and determine whether Real deserves a closer look.

Alex believes strongly in the opportunity and will explain why—but you will have the space to evaluate whether the model fits your career, team or brokerage.

Yes. Alex understands that even exploring a brokerage change can affect agents, partners, staff and clients.

You can speak with him privately before deciding whether to involve anyone else. A conversation does not commit you to making a move.

Alex will learn about your current situation, explain the parts of the Real model most relevant to you and help identify the next questions that need to be answered.

If there is a strong fit, the next step can be a deeper comparison of the numbers, technology, transition process and opportunity available to you.
