Real Technology Coming to RE/MAX: reZEN, Leo, AI Agents and Real Wallet Explained
- By Alex Burns
One of the most interesting parts of Real and RE/MAX coming together isn’t the new company name.
It’s the technology behind Real.
Tamir Poleg has talked about making Real’s technology and systems available to RE/MAX Broker/Owners who want to use them.
So what does that actually mean?
Here are four parts of Real’s technology platform worth understanding.
reZEN: THE PLATFORM BEHIND THE BUSINESS
reZEN is at the centre of Real’s technology ecosystem.
It brings transactions, commissions, documents, communication and brokerage operations into a more connected system.
For agents, that can mean less time jumping between different platforms.
For Broker/Owners, the bigger opportunity is efficiency. If more of the brokerage can operate through connected technology, there’s less administration and more time to focus on agents, recruiting and growth.
LEO: AI BUILT AROUND REAL ESTATE
Leo is Real’s AI-powered assistant.
Unlike a general AI chatbot, Leo is being developed specifically around the work agents and brokers actually do.
The goal is simple: help agents find information, get answers and manage their businesses faster.
As the technology develops, AI could become another layer of support working behind the agent.
AI AGENTS: MOVING FROM ANSWERS TO ACTION
This is where things get particularly interesting.
AI Agents aren’t just about answering questions. They’re designed to help complete tasks and automate parts of a workflow.
Think about how much time an agent or Broker/Owner spends following up, finding information, checking transactions and handling repetitive administration.
If AI can take some of that workload away, the biggest benefit isn’t the technology itself.
It’s getting time back.
REAL WALLET: CONNECTING THE MONEY SIDE
Real Wallet brings financial tools closer to the agent’s brokerage business.
The bigger idea is to create a more connected experience between transactions, commissions and how agents manage their money.
Instead of the brokerage technology ending when a deal closes, the financial side can become part of the same ecosystem.
WHY SHOULD RE/MAX AGENTS CARE?
RE/MAX already has something incredibly valuable: decades of brand recognition, established brokerage businesses and a massive network.
Real brings something different:
A modern technology platform built around how today’s agents operate.
That’s why I think this part of the Real and RE/MAX combination deserves attention.
The opportunity isn’t to turn RE/MAX into Real.
It’s to look at how Real’s technology can strengthen what RE/MAX agents and Broker/Owners have already built.
There are still details to come, and not every Real technology has been rolled out across RE/MAX.
But the direction is worth watching.
Keep the strength of RE/MAX. Add more technology behind it.
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR YOU?
For agents, better technology could mean less administration and more time building the business.
For team leaders, it could mean better infrastructure for managing growth.
For Broker/Owners, it could create new opportunities to operate more efficiently, recruit agents and provide more value to the people already inside their brokerage.
We’re still early, and there is going to be a lot more to come.
That’s exactly why I created The Brokerage Shift — to break these changes down, answer the questions agents and Broker/Owners are asking, and help you understand what they could mean for your business.
